Run standard
OS/400 and i5/OS commands
to
send spooled-files
to a Microsoft®
Windows PC running PDFing.
Spooled-files may be converted to
PDF
and (optionally) to other file formats, including
MS Excel.
PDF files produced by PDFing may be
saved
to specified storage-locations,
printed or sent as
email attachments to
selected recipients.
PDFing can convert
thousands of pages per minute
and spooled-file conversion may be enhanced by
applying graphic images and by
splitting or "bursting" into
a series of separately addressed documents.
PDFing complies with the following IBM standards:
i5/OS and OS400 version 3.1 or later,
*SCS,
*AFPDS and
*USERASCII spooled-files,
the Internet standard
LPR/LPD for receiving spooled-files,
the Internet standard
SMTP for sending email
and the
PDF specification from Adobe®.
PDFing can be a server for any (reasonable) number of concurrent OS400 jobs
on any number of AS400 or iSeries machines.
