pdfing4setup.msi

start the install process. For more information,
please see:
installing PDFing
If you have previously installed PDFing version 4 you will be presented with two options:
Repair or
Remove. Please select the
Remove
option, but when you are prompted to remove the configuration and queue directories, please
do not enter
Y or
y. When
remove has
completed, run
pdfing4setup.msi again. As long as you install PDFing into
the same location used by your previous install, your configuration files will be preserved
intact. If you have previously installed PDFing version 3.1 or earlier versions,
please refer to our
upgrade notes.
Caution! If all your license-keys were issued before 2nd September 2006, then this
version of PDFing will only work in "un-licensed" mode. Please do not proceed with
installation unless you have a license-key issued on or after 2nd September 2006.
If you have not yet done so, you should apply your support/upgrade license-key as soon
as the installation is complete. If you have not purchased a PDFing license-key since
this date, you may renew your
support contract
in order to receive an upgrade license-key which will allow V4 to run in fully licensed
mode, without limitations.
Windows Installer files for L4X v1
l4x.msi
v1.1.1.1 (2640kb 1st March 2008)
Just save this file to disk then double-click on it to start the install process.
If you have already installed
LuateX, you
must first remove the
"add-in" from Excel and then un-install it from Windows.
If you are converting spooled-files to excel using
L4X with PDFing, you should download the
windows installer file for the L4X IDE. This is an integrated development
environment for L4X scripts that "adds-in" to MS Excel.
If you are using
Lua for PDFing,
the included program:
L4p.exe allows you to develop, test and debug your script.
Optional OS400 Downloads
PDFing does
not require the installation of any OS400 objects
but this library of
open-source OS400 commands may be useful.

see file: ReadmeSavf.txt for uploading instructions.

*AFPDS spooled-files will be sent with all spooled-file attributes.
-
atransformsource.zip.
This contains the CL and RPGIV sources for an "advanced" version
of the "transform exit program". This should only be downloaded
with the advice of PDFing support staff.
Optional "Lua for PDFing" programs
Each of the following zip-files contains an *.exe file and a
Lua for PDFing
script demonstrating its use. You should un-zip the *.exe file into your
\PDFing\Markup directory. Do
not over-write your existing Lua script,
instead you must edit your existing script to include the relevant statements from
the example script in the zip-file.
-

This command allows you to add all the pages from a selected PDF
(stored in the \Markup directory) to the PDF files produced by PDFing.
